Hi all. As you may know, the Burnaby Photographic Society enters the North Shore Challenge photography competition regularly. This competition is exciting because it's a great showcase for local talent and they always put on a fun presentation when they show us the results in March. We'd like you to contribute to our entry in the club cate gory.
As usual we'll be having a selection meeting to choose six of our members' photos to comprise our club's competition entry. The selection meeting will be Monday December 2nd. It will be an in-person meeting.
Please submit up to two photos to BPScomp@outlook.com no later than noon, Sunday December 1st - that's this coming weekend.
Image files must fit the usual specifications - .jpg files, maximum 1400 pixels wide and 1050 pixels tall, and must fill one of these dimensions. They're requesting people use the sRGB color space for consistent color reproduction.
It's open theme, meaning there are no pre-set subjects. However:
"AI" generated content is not allowed, including in-painting, out-painting and generative fill.
Disturbing or explicit adult content may be disqualified at the discretion of the judges. (We at BPS will also make judgements about this during the selection meeting.)
Images submitted to this competition in previous years are not eligible.
Note that if selected, your images may be used by the North Shore Photographic Society to promote their future competitions.
