The guest speaker tonight is Ursula Abresch and the topic is “Abstract Photography”. This is from Ursula:

“Photography is essentially abstract. I isolate whole scenes or simple elements from reality. I then show them as I see them, their shapes and colours, and as I felt when I stood at the shores of the lake or among the trees and made that picture. I incorporate the sounds and smells, the memories past and future, the emotional resonance of something as simple as a drop of water or something as complex as a mountain scene. That is what I do.”
