Selection for the CAPA “Minimalism” competition. Please submit up to two images no later than 5pm Sunday, May 3rd.

Send your images to BPSComp@outlook.com. To avoid problems with email software resizing the images, add them as attachments to the email rather than embedding them in the body of the message.

This competition has a very strict editing policies (please refer to the CAPA rules linked below for full details).

Submitted images must fall within one of the following themes:

• Natural Minimalism – explores elements isolated against clean backgrounds, lone trees in vast landscapes, or simple weather elements that capture nature’s elegant simplicity 

• Architectural & Urban Minimalism – focuses on geometric shapes, clean lines, and the powerful use of negative space in human-created environments.

Most editing techniques are permitted including vignettes. NOT permitted are:

• Elements with non-photographic origin

• Frames, borders etc.

• AI techniques including in-painting (content-aware fill) and out-painting or generative imagery. Please refer to the CAPA website for details on Permitted AI Tools vs. Prohibited AI Techniques, here.

The usual size restrictions of 1400x1050 apply (that is, the image must meet one of those dimensions and not exceed either), and maximum file size is 1.8MB.
